Last one, empty net. Shots on goal? 43-25. Aubin in net, yes it's a loss, but 43 shots? Not so bad. I am continuing my support of him because he repelled 40 shots - where was the defence? And where was the offence?
The report is, the Leafs were very very lackluster, no energy, no spunk, as I like to say.
Ok the funniest part of the article mentions Belfour - who YES was in net last night - got into a bar incident this week in Long Island and somehow fellow goalie Alex Auld, who was with him, came out of it with an injured eye.
This seems VERY suspicious to me. Belfour takes Auld out - Just one drink, Alex, come on, we're buddies, don't you like me?, I like you, come meet some of my friends - and Auld ends up with a hurt eye.
I don't know. Maybe staying away from Eddie the Eagle would be a smarter idea for Auld from now on.

Hey, the newspaper write-up says that this was career win #450 for Florida coach Jacques Martin, making him the 13th NHL coach to pass that milestone. Not too shabby, eh?

Yeah he's certainly a respectable coach - too bad Ottawa never became what it seemed they might be under him.
