I'm 13 years old and I know a lot about baseball. I like the Marlins and there is all this talk about who's up for arbitration and who's probably coming back and who isn't. With all this talk, is there any talk about any particular trades in mind for the Marlins and any free agents in particular the Marlins are thinking about signing?

The signing period will start shortly after the World Series, and players will go through the process of filing for free agency. The Marlins most likely won't be looking to sign a high-profile player like Manny Ramirez or CC Sabathia, because their price tags will be too high. I expect them to covet some more modestly priced free agents. Trades certainly are possible, and in fact they are probable.

Will the Marlins wheel and deal?

Sabathia and Ramirez would definately be too high. I know that getting Pudge would probably be unlikely, but I would love to see him back if by rare chance we would be able to sign him.
