How are the Florida Marlins winning?

According to Yahoo! Sports, "The Marlins have made more errors (63) than any team in the National League. Their pitching staff's ERA (4.42) is 11th in the league. Their hitters are striking out (613) at a record pace... Yet there they are, with a little more than two weeks until the All Star break—two games out of first place in the National League East." So how are they doing it? How are the Florida Marlins winning?

Re: How are the Florida Marlins winning?

The entire NL except for the Cubs is full of .500 teams or lower. I doubt it is anything the Marlins are doing right, especially after their debacle at home against Tampa Bay. They have a couple of great hitters in Ramirez and Uggla, and after that I don't see much.
