'July 18 -- Brett Carroll clubbed three home runs and had six RBIs while using Albuquerque teammate Robert Andino's bat. It was the third multi-homer game of the season for the 24-year-old center fielder and sparked a 12-8 win over Omaha.
'Sept. 4 -- Pacific Coast League Offensive Player of the Week honors went to Reggie Abercrombie, who batted .414 and hit safely in Albuquerque's final seven games. He picked up four homers, seven RBIs, five stolen bases and nine runs scored during that stretch, finishing the season with 17 homers, 55 RBIs and a .323 batting average.
'May 28 -- Albuquerque turned the first triple play in franchise history in a 10-9 win over Nashville. In the sixth inning, pitcher Mauro Zarate snared Laynce Nix's line drive, threw to shortstop Robert Andino, who doubled up Callix Crabbe at second base before relaying to Val Pascucci to get Chris Barnwell at first.
