| Marlins vs. Nationals Big series going on right now between the Marlins and the Nationals, with the loser pretty much doomed to last place in the NL East. Game 1 went to Washington, 6-3. According to the Associated Press, "Wily Mo Pena homered, and Austin Kearns went 3-for-4 with an RBI for the Nationals, who moved one game ahead of Florida at the bottom of the NL East standings. Washington won for the third straight time since losing seven in a row." Can Florida come back to win the next two games and claim the series?
