| Marlins losing streak The Florida Marlins have now lost four straight games after dropping a 7-5 decision to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 10 innings yesterday. The Marlins allowed the Bucs to hit a season-high four homers during the evening. According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, "Over a five-pitch span in the 10th, Xavier Nady and Ryan Doumit hit back-to-back, two-out solo shots to right field off Gregg. That sent the Marlins to their fourth loss in a row and dropped them to 15-23 at Dolphin Stadium... The Marlins, who had not allowed four or more homers in a game since Sept. 24, are a season-worst six games under .500 for the second time and first since they were 16-22 on May 14."
