Gregg is 6-for-6 on the season in save opps, so it sounds like a smart decision to me. What do you think?

So, 6 for 6...that was what?...a tryout?...sounds like he was the closer already, no?

Yeah, I guess the guy who was the closer before Gregg took over is back (must've been injured), but they're keeping Gregg in the role anyway. Guess I left some of the details out, sorry. Bottom line is they like Gregg as the closer.

Gregg has had an ERA over 4 in his each of his three full years in the majors... but this year, he's been very solid. He's pitched 31 innings, allowed 7 earned runs, and has a 3 to 1 strikeout to walk ratio.

If he keeps this up, he might as well replace Henry Owens (?) as the Marlins' closer.
