| Fish lose opener to Cards The Marlins are 0-1 in the Grapefruit league after losing to the Cardinals 6-3 Wednesday.
Starter Scott Olsen threw 37 pitches in 1.33 innings, but managed to hold the Cards to a run. The Cardinals pitching dominated the Fish for the most part, leaving them hitless until the fifth.
The Marlins also lost relief pitcher Taylor Tankersley for at least 5-7 days and starter Josh Johnson for an unknown period -- probably a "significant portion of the season," according to MLB.com.
Not the kind of start the "Sophomores" were looking for. They go against the Orioles today at 1 p.m.
Without Johnson, supposedly the team's premier rightie, who wants to guess which which NL East team will eat them alive???
