| Marlins fall to fourth After a pair of losses to the Mets, the Florida Marlins have fallen to fourth in the NL Wild Card standings, three games behind the Padres. Manager Joe Girardi told the Associated Press that his team was "not dead. Two tough losses... We need a good road trip. There's no secret. We need a really good road trip, but we're not dead." I'm starting to think they may, in fact, be dead. Too soon to count them out or not?

| Re: Marlins fall to fourth I'd give them a couple of series before we make any definite decisions. If Annibal Sanchez is on the mound for the rest of the season game after game, I'll be seeing them in the post-season. One thing is for sure: They will not win the NL East. |
