Re: Florida Marlins looking to get to .500

If the Florida Marlins win their next game, says this recap of their win over Milwaukee yesterday, they will be .500. Not bad for a team that at one point this season was playing .250 ball at one point in the season. I know Girardi's getting a lot of the credit for the turn around, but is he really the reason for their recent success? Why are the Marlins winning now when they couldn't earlier in the season?

Re: Florida Marlins looking to get to .500

And the feat is accomplished, as the Marlins beat the Brewers 10-3. They compiled 13 hits on the day, led by Hanley Ramirez's three doubles and three RBI. Florida won all seven of their games against Milwaukee and are now 68-68 on the season, and are two games back of San Diego in the Wild Card race at this point in the season.
