| UF's Wright has thumb surgery No. 9 Florida might be without freshman starting safety Major Wright this weekend against No. 20 Georgia. Wright, who played at Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas, broke his thumb during last week's game at Kentucky. Wright had surgery Monday to insert a plate in his thumb, and he will be fitted with a cast. ''There's a chance he will play against Georgia,'' coach Urban Meyer said. Full Story
