Two games into the season, Florida's many first-year players probably think they know all about intensity and what it's like to run out of the tunnel in The Swamp.

Florida coach Urban Meyer says the Gators will be in for an intense week.

They don't, UF coach Urban Meyer said Sunday. Not really. But they will find out Saturday, when SEC rival Tennessee comes to The Swamp.

It's a whole different game and a whole new atmosphere awaiting these many inexperienced Gators.

Meyer remembers his experience stepping into this new realm for the first time three years ago.
"I played in some SEC venues as an opposing coach (before coming to UF in 2005)," Meyer said. "(The SEC has) the finest fans, the most intense, passionate game in the country. My first Tennessee game validated everything I believed.

"My first two games in The Swamp (against non-conference foes Wyoming and Louisiana Tech) were nice and I thought it was kind of neat and wild and the whole deal. It's a whole different level (playing Tennessee). What I'll never forget is the first experience here against Tennessee."
