University of Florida juniors Joakim Noah (New York, N.Y.) and Al Horford (Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic) have been named second and third-team All-Americans, respectively, by the Associated Press, the organization announced Monday.
The pair of selections marks the first time since 2001-02, when Matt Bonner and Udonis Haslem earned AP honorable mention nods, that UF has garnered multiple All-America selections. Noah’s second-team bid is the first for a Gator player since Neal Walk accomplished the feat in 1967-68.
