| Chris Leak concussion?
Did Florida QB Chris Leak play with a concussion against Georgia? There seems to be some debate about that issue right now. Leak is denying it, but according to the Associated Press, "After Saturday's 21-14 victory, Leak told coach Urban Meyer he felt like he sustained a concussion in the first half. Leak told team trainers only that he had a headache. He took medication but didn't use the word 'concussion' until after the game."
Coach Urban Meyer was understandably upset and concerned, and emphasized that players need to make sure coaches and trainers need to know if a player is experiencing symptons during a game. Leak should be fine heading into this weekend's game, but still... what do you guys think of this situation and the issue of college players trying to possibly hide injuries from coaches and trainers? |
