| Tebow rejoins teammates Quarterback Tim Tebow rejoined his teammates and coaches at a 2:10 p.m. team meeting Tuesday, where he was named the offensive player of the game in Florida's 41-7 victory over Kentucky. Then he returned home for more rest in his recovery from a concussion, while the rest of the Gators moved over to the practice field. "Tim was in today. We had a team meeting, our champions meeting, and he was here," UF coach Urban Meyer said. "He looks good. He still has a headache. Every day, it's day to day." Earlier in the day, Tebow underwent more tests under the supervision of UF's medical and training staff. The decision on when Tebow returns rests solely with the medical team, Meyer reiterated Tuesday. Meyer said he had a chance to watch some of the tests Tuesday. Story

| Re: Tebow rejoins teammates I'll tell you why they had him in.... to pad stats. He's 2 touchdowns away from breaking the SEC rushing record of 49.... and I'm sure Florida would love to have a 2 time Heisman winner to add to their stats. Not to mention another National Title. None of those things happen if he comes out and Florida doesn't dismantle the oppostion of the week. Should he have still been in there, no. He was though.

| Re: Tebow rejoins teammates 1. He was in there for, like Quality said, to pad his own stats. Try to help himself get the Heisman, not only that though, it helps BCS rankings the more points you score. Sorry to the team getting pummeled, but it's not necessarily unsportsmanlike with BCS rankings where you need every point you can get. 2. I'm thinking this will affect the Gators, a lot. I like Tebow, however this could really help Texas. Maybe this could be the Longhorns big chance at grabbing that number 1 spot.

| Re: Tebow rejoins teammates Here is a quote from Meyer it is ridiculous: Meyer said Tuesday that Tebow probably would have been pulled from the lopsided game following that drive. Some have questioned why Tebow was still in the game with the Gators leading 31-7. "Ultimately, it's my call," Meyer said. "If we go in and score right there, I think we do yank him out of the game. But you also want to make sure you secure the game." If Meyer was paying attention I wonder what game he was watching cause it was not the same game I saw the game was pretty secure and even if Kentucky came back he could have put Tebow back in if needed. Duh... |

| Re: Tebow rejoins teammates guys you know why. the 4, 5.and 6th place teams lost that means they will stick usc, and ohio state back in the top ten which they did. it goes back to the stupid bcs crap. fl. knew their game against tn. would pull them down some and they knew they had to blow out ky. |
