The Florida men’s basketball team will open up the league portion of its 2009-10 schedule on Sat., Jan. 9, at Vanderbilt. The contest between the Gators and Commodores at Memorial Gym will be broadcast on ESPN.

As part of the SEC’s new television contract, a staggering 12 of the Gators’ 16 conference match ups, the most in school history, will be carried nationally on either the ESPN or CBS networks.
