Jason Witten of the Dallas Cowboys is usually the first one to go (round four, pick four), followed by Charger Antonio Gates (going at round four, pick 12), and then Atlanta Falcon Tony Gonzalez (round five, pick five).

Gates has seemed to fall off the face of the earth, and Gonzalez is ollllldddd.

Mark my words though-- Zach Miller the Jaguars' rookie TE from UNO (right here in NE) will be a breakout TE star! Seriously!

Sure Gonzalez is old but also the best to ever do it and you have to believe he'll put up bigger numbers with the falcons than the chiefs...(i'm a chiefs fan btw) romo is going to be handing off alot this year so wittens numbers will suffer a bit and gates will be playing the nfc east and afc north, tons of def in those divisions. gonz will go after the two in most drafts but i welcome the chance to snag him in the 5th if im lucky!!!

I still hate Tony for leaving my team but he is a amazing TE and i think Atlanta will be the best place possible for him and i believe he will set new standards this year watch out for TG baby!

I believe Gates has the most raw talent (given the age of Gonzo these days) but his overall production has slipped the last three seasons...though he still scores TDs with the best of them.

That and he plays for San Diego not Dallas like Witten...which cuts down the "love"...

Jason Witten far and away, he's on a pass first team, don't tell me they will run more because I'll believe when I see it, and honestly he's there best option, Defanately Witten, but Gonzalez should have a very good year too
