Welcome to GoTeamsGo, xxTriOvalxx, and thanks for joining us!

My advice? Go RB early; you can always get quality QBs and WRs in rounds 3-5.

I hope it's not too late for this advice but I agree with Lefty for the most part unless you can land Manning with the 4th pick. (1-3 should be Larry Johnson, Sean Alexander and Ladanian Tomlinson). Then I would take Manning #4. Then take the best 2 available RB's after that.

Re: Help!!!

Don't be frightened into taking a TE, QB, K or Defense too early. Sometimes one team will take a top guy and everyone behind him fears a run on that position and next thing you know, Adam Vinatieri is taken in the 6th or 7th round

But know your leagues stats and what stats score the most points. As Lefty said, that's when the RBs usually rack up points.

See I took Manning over LJ...not conventional thinking...but Peyton has been the model of consitency...LJ had a fantastic 9 game run...I jsut don't see him getting another 20 TD...I would have taken LT over Peyton...and that's about it...

Outside of Peyton, I would not have passed on the big three...

Re: Help!!!

Draft a defense at the end. As I learned it does not make an impact statistically, but only a mere few fantasy points.

Go with the big positions first like QB and RB where you are assured some playing time which produces fantasy points. I like to wait on WRs and TEs since you never know how many passes will come their way.

Cool Re: Need Draft Help!

Also, don't take a kicker too early. They're a crap shoot from year to year.

Re: Need Draft Help!

I'd take Vinateri or Vanderjact in the late rounds of the draft. I wouldn't wait too late until they are all gone, but I would take some.

My GoTeamsGo fantasy team has horrible kickers but I am sure I will do well this season without the top footers.
