| TO a no show in Gotham (GoTeamsGO Fantasy League 2006)
Citing an elbow injury received in a serious game of Madden Football, Terrell Owens failed to show up to the Gotham Dark Knights (of the mighty GotTeamsGO Fantasy Football League) first pre-season practice.
A spokesman for TO said, “Terrell is aware of his reputation, but at this time he feels he needs to rest his elbow to be ready for the season opener. TO takes his Madden football seriously and the amount of time he played the game this year has caused a sprained elbow and slightly bruised finger tips.”
Team Captain Peyton Manning shrugged off the news, “ I got other receivers and I heard our owners are in negotiations with the Pundits for a Tight End.”
In an unrelated story, Terrell Owens was seen taking in the premier of “Snakes on a Plane” with Simple Life starlet Paris Hilton by his side. “Its time for Paris to upgrade from that wannabe punk rookie QB to a real pro,” said Owens. |
