Studs, Duds, and Sleepers

Projected fantasy studs
Eli Manning, QB, Giants. Seeing the Cowboys again ought to help Manning shake off last week's loss. He threw three TDs in the first game against Dallas and has 14 TDs in his past six games against the Cowboys.
Santana Moss, WR, Redskins. His average of 43.6 receiving yards over the past five games hasn't earned him any friends. But Cincinnati has allowed an average of 32 points in its past three while giving up seven TD passes.
Steve Slaton, RB, Texans. He's the only running back to reach 100 yards against the Titans (116 yards in Week 3) and is accelerating to the finish line with three 100-yard games in his past four.
Pierre Thomas, RB, Saints. Thomas rushed for 102 yards last week — the Saints' first 100-yard game since he ran for 105 (with 121 yards receiving) against the Bears in Week 17 of 2007.
Isaac Bruce, WR, 49ers. Bruce is averaging 87.3 yards with two TDs over the past three games. And the 49ers have proved they can win on the East Coast.
Projected fantasy duds
Joseph Addai, RB, Colts. Yes, he faces the wretched Lions, but Addai has been plenty wretched himself over the past three games. Addai is dealing with shoulder and knee injuries.
Tim Hightower, RB, Cardinals. If he couldn't get going against the Rams, what do you think he'll do against the Vikings' No. 2 rushing defense?
Calvin Johnson, WR, Lions. He's a top-10 receiver despite being on the Lions. But if Daunte Culpepper can't go, can he overcome more of Dan Orlovsky or Drew Stanton at quarterback?
Any Steeler or Raven. Offense will be hard to find in this matchup of the league's top two defenses. Don't think about playing anybody from either team — except for the defenses.
Michael Turner, RB, Falcons. Count on the Buccaneers' defense bouncing back after a horrid performance vs. Carolina. Turner had 42 rushing yards in his first game against Tampa Bay.
Sleepers
Davone Bess, WR, Dolphins. He hasn't scored since Week 7, but you can't argue with 20 catches for 245 yards in his past three games as he's turned into the Dolphins' top target.
Tashard Choice, RB, Cowboys. Give him another chance after gaining an impressive 166 total yards against the Steelers' top-ranked defense. His playing time will diminish if Marion Barber returns, but he'll still play.
Donald Lee, TE, Packers. He's emerged as a goal-line threat with TDs in three of the past four games. The Jaguars allowed two TDs to tight ends against Chicago.
Devin Hester, WR, Bears. With Marty Booker likely out, Hester is Chicago's only legitimate receiving threat. The Saints are 26th against the pass.
Maurice Morris, RB, Seahawks. He appears to be the No. 1 back, although the team's carries are tough to predict. Playing the Rams' 29th-ranked run defense is a nice matchup.
