Go with Fargas. I believe he's starting at tailback for the Raiders this weekend, and he's been pretty good for me this year in fantasy.

True, but I figure you just roll the dice and start the better athlete.

Re: help with my flex spot today.....

I don't have quite that problem with my fantasy teams, but I just acquired Fargas on several of my teams (getting rid of highly rated dead weight that haven't produced) and, though I don't have the caliber backs you have, he's now my 2nd highest rated back, he's probably 3rd on yours.

Engram in your group is 3rd WR at best (depending on how much ATL wants to pass - White has been good the early part of the season, but expectations is for him to get fewer targets now that ATL is trying to run more.)

Dieon Branch is supposed to play this week, so Engram will be getting less targets.

Fargas had 100+ yds combined last week and it doesn't look like it'll change in the near future.

FARGAS is the clear choice.

Re: help with my flex spot today.....

BTW, have you checked out "Crystal Ball" at ESPN? I don't always agree with their picks (my QB's are Palmer and Anderson and it's continually picking Palmer when Anderson has the better matchup???) but at least they look at your entire team to make a suggestion on active/bench. it's also good for any league 'cause you set scoring options & position (WR/RB vs WR only, etc.) info when you enter your team.

If I have a decent player, I always go with the RB. He will get more touches on the ball and has the opportunity to make big plays.

I only count players that can play .. peterson is out (for now). guess it's a bit hard-nosed, but "I appreciate everything you've done, but yer not gonna help me this week...." is the way I feel. (but I wouldn't get rid of him until the team says he's gone for the season .. doctors are usually too conservative about an athlete's recovery time - they don't take into account the athlete's desire to return to the game.)

right now I'm carrying Frank Gore as dead weight cause of my league's "no cut" rule. If SF could figure out how to pass, I might re-consider. crystal ball keeps putting him in as my #1 RB - that's why I said it's a good resource, but I don't always agree.
