Can I Penalize A Fantasy Player?

I hate Ronnie Brown, can't stand the man. I'm sure he's a nice guy, nice to his girlfriend and mistress, but I mean... he stunk it up for the first 8 weeks of the season (short of his 2 TD performance in Wk 1 against The Steelers).

Now, he's still on my fantasy team, and certainly a viable option, but... does he deserve to start? Sure, he might go off, get over a 100 yards, maybe even a Touchdown, but I'm tired and sick of Ronnie thinking he can run for -1 yards and think that I (and other female fantasy owners) are gonna put up with this ****. I say, we let him have it. I think I'm gonna bench him the rest of the season, regardless of the fact that my only back up running back is Mwelde Moore. At least Mwelde Moore tries.

Anyway, I ask... can you penalize a fantasy player? This isn't reality -- I can't leave Ronnie at the airport, and make him catch his own plane. All I can do is bench him on principle. Does this make sense? I think it makes sense.

Thoughts.

wouldn't it depend on his cuteness factor?...or is that tied into the yards from scrimmage and TD scored?

You're right, "cuteness" is very important. But this does not apply to Ronnie Brown. Ronnie Brown sucks, straight up. He deserves punishment. And I think his yards from scrimage is like 0.0007 yards per carry.

Well its more like 3.8 yards a carry...but why quibble over 3.7993 yards a carry...

Maybe he plain just doesn't want to play on your team, and is looking for a way out of his contract with you...ever thought of that?

Show the man some love and respect and he will show you the yards...

That... is a fine point. From this point forward, I will pray to my television before every Dolphins down. But Ronnie shouldn't fear being on my team next year.

See, that's the spirit...a few prayers...chanting works wonders too...and don't underestimate the importance of wearing a Ronnie Brown jersey while you are at it...I mean, you gotta be commited to your fantasy backs...Hopefully the man don't read your post above...it would destroy what little is left of his confidence after the Viking game...to get 0.2 yards a carry is one thing...to be dissed in Fantasy...well that's just plain wrong...
