Cool Defensive help

The Saints D at home vs. the Ravens or Dallas D at Carolina?

Also in another league: Browns D vs. the J-E-T-S or Indy D vs. Broncos?

Go with the Saints and the Colts. I'm not a huge fan of the Indy D, but the Broncos offense has been pretty anemic lately and, let's face it, the Browns are just flat out lousy. New Orleans is a tougher call, but I give them the edge because I think the Ravens O will be a mess without Fassell and McNair.

Re: Defensive help

McNair is on the offensive side of the ball, Lefty Noob. I'd have to back up the Baltimore Ravens against the Saints, regardless of what Lefty Noob said. I just like to make everything difficult around here, right? Actually, I have always felt that the Baltimore Ravens were the strongest team defensively in the league with Ray Lewis as their star.

Re: Defensive help

Marc, read the Pundits post again. The Saints DEFENSE is playing against the Ravens OFFENSE, hence Baltimore firing their offensive coordinator and not having their starting QB for the game HELPS the New Orleans D. The other alternative is the Dallas defense; Pundit doesn't even have the Ravens D.

I went with the Cowboys and the Browns which turned out better. But I'll keep asking and keep advising...Thanks...

Re: Defensive help

What about this week, JAX vs. TEN or DAL vs. WAS? It's a hard call cuz Jax looked great against PHI's defense led by veteran Mcnabb, but Dal is coming of a hot week against Carolina, but Was is much better than they were early this season when Dal won 27-10, this time Clinton Portis is healthy and running crazy.

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, UGAbulldogz87, and thanks for joining us!

I don't think you can go wrong with either one there, really. The Jacksonville defense is very good, as you said. Dallas played well last week, too. Personally, I think at this point, the Titans offense scares me more than the Redskins offense, so I'd give the slight edge to the Cowboys and start their D. But again, either one looks to be a decent play.
