News: Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger practiced Wednesday, and appears likely to play in Week 1.
Impact: The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Wednesday that Ben was expected to start on Monday Night Football. He's not a great fantasy start against the Jaguars. (Wed. Sep 13, 2006)

The Jags looked good against Bledsoe and Big Ben is coming back form injury....which makes him a poor start...anyone consider starting him in their league?

I wouldn't start him this week if for no other reason than why do it his first week? Let's see how he performs before you put him in you're line-up. Add to the fact it's against a good defense in Jacksonville, you're better off waiting a week and seeing how he does.

Yep...the Jags are a tough test out of the shoot...I would double think most QB's starting against them...

On a side note: Anyone know the condition of Trent Green?

Thought I heard Green was going to be out for a couple of weeks. He's got a concussion.

Ben practiced some this week - not sure if he's slated to play vs. Jax, but I agree with Fox anyway. I wouldn't start him on my fantasy team; not in his first game back, and not against that Jaguars defense. Too risky a play unless you have no other options.
