Tomorrow night is my 5th and final fantasy draft. I have the 1st pick. Who would you guys and/or gals take? LJ or Alexander? And why? All summer I thought if I ever had the 1st pick, I would go for LJ, but now I'm leaning towards Alexander. Help!!

for 2005 total yards: LT 1832........Alexander 1958

touchdowns for 2005: LT 20......Alexander 28

clearly Alexander has an edge, question is of course, how will that translate to this year

im afraid i see it as a toss up, i think the touchdown #'s will stay much the same

as for yardage, i think LT may get more.......Rivers is still so new to this i think they may rely much more on the run, which means more yards for LT

so as i said, it really seems like a toss up, guess it depends what points your league is giving

if TD's are worth more then Alexander, if yardage is then probably LT

thats my 2 cents anyway

I personally like LT...though Brees is gone...I jsut don't see Alexander having anywhere near as good a year...I'd bet on LJ coming closer seeing as he only started 9 games last year...I never take a guy following his career year...look at Manning after his 49 TD's, Marino, Emmitt, Rice etc...on the other hand, LJ was on the rise as the season ended.

But, it all depends on the scoring system...I always like Manning better...

Thanks for your suggestions Gotham and Simple - except it says L "J" - Larry Johnson but it definitely looks like "LT' . So let me re-phrase - Larry Johnson or Sean Alexander?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........well that changes everything lol

Johnson has better yards, slightly...but i wouldnt count on it this year

i would pick Alexander this year for a big reason.....he plays for a better team

i count about 10 games that KC will really have to fight to win, very possibly coming from behind

when a team has to come from behind that means one thing, the running game usually suffers greatly

i think Johnsons rushing total will likely be much lower this year for that reason

and for the same reason i think Alexanders will be about the same he had last year, over 1500 for sure

actually, i think Alexanders couldbe the same or better.....the Seahawks should be leading late in games, which bodes very well for the rusher
