I hope Greg Maddux does well for you, ThePundit. He has had a really odd season where he would have amazing win streaks and then back to his usual self. |

| Re: Fantasy Baseball Playoffs Ouch, man... here's hoping that offense stars producing for you. I'm hanging onto a 5-4 lead. I'm dominating some of the offensive categories: 29-15 in runs, 9-6 in homers, .311-..210 in average. We're tied in RBI, and he's kicking my tail in wins (5-2) and leading ERA and WHIP. I couldn't even get a win out of Johan Santana yesterday. All of a sudden, I'm starting to sweat this one a little... guess maybe I really DID jinx myself!

| Thanks Lefy but I'm not feeling good about it at all. Losing Teahen and Sweeney, and now Rios in just 1 week is a tough thing to overcome. My 3rd baseman is Hillenbrand and I put in Chris Duffy for Sweeney. 2 huge downgrades ..and I have nobody in for Rios. But hey, you never know. |

| I'm in huge trouble. I'm down 9-6. I basically need my team to go nuts and for our opponent to go ice cold. Then we have a chance. It just wasn’t in the cards this week: 1) Alex Rios has only pinch ran and played defense. I had no idea he was hurt when the week started. 2) Kenny Rogers was supposed to get 2 starts this week but he didn’t. (We’re only up 14 innings and 5K’s and have no starters today to our opponents 2). 3) We’re down 4 homers to 3 homers and some guy named Sheely on KC has 3 of the 4 which our opponent has. 4) Utley and Hillenbrand (Teahen was a HUGE loss) are both hitting .191 - no dingers. 5) Although Dye hit a homer last night he’s hitting .143 Again, I need a miracle. |

| Re: Fantasy Baseball Playoffs I enter today tied 4-4 with my opponent, with him leading the RBI's 32-31 and the two of us tied on stolen bases (2-2) and Ks (31-31). It all comes down to today... maybe I should put some speed in my lineup to try and get a steal or two, eh? |

I would still start Dye even though he is hitting .143, because he has the motivation to win the AL MVP Award if he continues to hit well. That is the most he can do for the White Sox who have slim chances of making the Playoffs. |

| We use Yahoo and it's a weekly league so I cant change players midweek. That's why I couldn't get Rios out of the lineup....And I'd have to be nuts to EVER think of benching Dye. I lost my game but there is a consolation $100 for 3rd prize. And it's a 2 week game. Did you win MJH? How about you Lefty? |

| Re: Fantasy Baseball Playoffs Yep, I won 6-4 and reached the Finals. And you know what? Part of it is thanks Ray Durham. Stuck him in yesterday to try and get and extra stolen base and it paid off. Also won the RBIs for the week, 34-32 - Delgado and Vernon Wells had 7 each on the week, and Willingham had 6. |
