Okay, for the Ichiro nay sayers out there...my boy who was batting .177 in the middle of April is up to .342 now...collecting 16 hits in his last 7 games...So much for slumps or that he is not as good as in the past.

He is still one of the best solid contact hitters in the game. He challenges the AL Batting-Title every year. He has a great chance of walking home with the gold this year (not World Series, of course--but the AL Batting Title or Silver Slugger Award).

You must be lucky to have him on your team, Gotham Dark Knight. Were you considering trading him when he slumped in April?

never...I only trade players that are hitting way above their lifetime average... ...I figure those will soon be on the way down...I knew Ichiro is not a first month hitter....and when he gets in gear he is good for multiple hit games...
