| Re: First MLB Fantasy League - Can You Rate My Draft? Victorino, is he starting this year? If so, you should be set with SBs. Ramirez should do great this year. Your pitching is nice with Zambrano, Kazmir and Cain. Overall good draft. Just keep your eye out if any solid players pop up in free-agency. |

| Re: First MLB Fantasy League - Can You Rate My Draft? The thing with draft evalution is, you do not have info on who was available when you drafted the players you did...so its hard to gauge overall...at best you can evaluate the team you came away with... |

| Re: First MLB Fantasy League - Can You Rate My Draft? Pujols of course is a fabulous pick. I like snagging Zambrano -- he's always been good, and the lineup looks to have more pop this year which means more wins for him. Your pitching is excellent. Kazmir is great value where you got him, and taking a flier on Contreras that late is a bold move that could have a great payoff for you.

| Re: First MLB Fantasy League - Can You Rate My Draft? Welcome to the GoTeamsGo Fan Forum, Deeyou. When it comes to Fantasy Baseball, I cannot be of much assistance. However, I shall try to accomodate your needs. 1.(1)Albert Pujols1B2.=Always a solid choice at 1st. I'm expecting 35 homeruns from him, at least. (20)Lance Berkman1B,OF3.=Even though I am not a fan of him, he is still one of the best sluggers in the game. (21)Carlos ZambranoSP4.=Third round? Well, he is a decent man for the top of your rotation. (40)Hanley RamírezSS5=He is now considered one of the top short-stops in the league. He is good, but I wouldn't expect spectacular numbers. (41)Joe NathanRP6.=With this excellent reliever, you have your bullpen about covered. (60)Corey PattersonOF7.=He is expected to be a sleeper this year, but you never know. (61)Troy Glaus3B,SS8.=His production has seriously decreased since his time departure from the Angels. (80)Scott KazmirSP9.=He had a hot start last year, and hopefully he can carry it over to this season. (81)Magglio OrdóñezOF10.=I'm surprised he was around this late. (100)Matt CainSP11.=I've heard a lot of great stuff about him, but I haven't been sold on his talent. (101)Chris RayRP12=Two relievers? I would trade one of them. (120)Brian Roberts2B13.=Known for his special contacts, he is one of the best contact hitters in the game. However, he did not do so well last season. (121)Álex RíosOF14.=For some reason he always goes late. I am projecting another 30 homerun season. (140)Russell MartinC15.=As a Dodgers fan, I will only applause your selection here. (141)Francisco CorderoRP16.=3 Closers? Get some Starting Pitchers! (160)Takashi SaitoRP17.=FOUR CLOSERS?!? You better trade some of them. (161)Bill Hall3B,SS18.=Nice back-up for Troy Glaus. I've also heard some decent news about him. (180)Julio Lugo2B,3B,SS19.=He isn't the best, but he will play almost any infield position you need. In other words, you might want to put him in some games when your starters aren't playing. (181)Shea Hillenbrand1B,3B20.=I'd play him as 1B, since you have 2 third-basemans. (200)Shane VictorinoOF21.=Average Outfielder, but not a bad choice. (201)José ContrerasSP=A little late to get involved with starting pitchers. But, he is a nice pick. I think he will win around 15 games this season. |
