Re: Need Fantasy Baseball Advice...

With six teams only, your outfield could be a tad stronger...no telling how Burell will do (I have him as well, and I am hoping for the best)...Monroe may not get the job done in that spacious ball park, I would consider changing him...I mean four Tiger hitters???...the ball park is just not a hitters ballpark...I would be looking to trade two of them.

I like Nomar...gutsy move...but hey, winners role the die...I would have kept I-Rod only cause catchers that go 120-135 games are hard to find and he can DH...but Nomar will pay off for at least 130 games...the other 30 can be platooned....

Gotta take those high payoff risk...I am all for the nomar-drew combo...if you play it safe, you'll be watching the playoffs from the bench.

Re: Need Fantasy Baseball Advice...

I had Willingham last year and he was great for me... qualified as both a C and an OF, which was nice. Not sure if it's that way this year in your league or not, but definitely an added bonus if it shakes out that way. Not so crazy about the Nomar pick up... taking a chance is one thing, but the guy has been so injury prone lately, and has struggled at times over the past few seasons. Too much of a gamble in my estimation.

Re: Need Fantasy Baseball Advice...

Your outfield needs more power and you could use a strong closer. Other than that you did well.
Who is on the free waiver wire? I like delmon young and he may be available. There are some young hotshots that may be top 20 players this season. Markakis, Quentin, Chris Young (AR), Duffy, Victorino, Hart, Hermida and Dellucci are on my sleeper list.
