| Eberle in Edmonton now C Jordan Eberle comes from Regina.
from mynhldraft.com:
Jordan Eberle possesses hockey sense and skill that cannot be taught. Both intelligent and creative, he stands head and shoulders above most of the Pats’ forwards and won numerous accolades for his play as a 17-year old. Can make plays out of almost nothing and sees the ice as well as anyone in the WHL. He is at his most dangerous in close quarters to the opposing goaltender; he will often carry the puck out from behind the net and force the goalie to scramble laterally. While his offensive abilities are exceptional, Eberle can also play both sides of the ice; he finishes his checks cleanly and is not a liability in his own zone as he receives significant time on the penalty kill. The only reasons he’s not considered among the top ten prospects are his size (5’11”, 165 lbs) and that he perhaps tries to do a bit too much, but this is not borne of selfish play. Sometimes his teammates aren’t expecting his passes considering the traffic he can slide the puck through.
