The Edmonton Oilers have acquired C Ryan Potulny from the Philadelphia Flyers for defenseman Danny Syvret.

According to Pa. Sportsticker reports, "A third-round pick in 2003, Potulny recorded an assist in seven games for the Flyers this past season. The 23-year-old also registered 21 goals and 26 assists in 58 regular-season contests for the Flyers’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms... Over the last three seasons, Potulny has tallied seven goals and seven assists in 44 regular-season games for the Flyers." Good pickup for the Oilers?
