Edmonton leads series 3 and oh

do you ever make a choice to do something and then wake up the next morning and think, Why did i do that?
No, I'm talking about something else - when i went to bed it was 1-0 for the oilers and I thought, cool, give me a shutout.
then i wake up and it ended 5-4. Did roloson and bryzgalov go for coffee?
Damn that getting tired thing.
I missed some fighting, some nastiness and a whole pile of goals.
Pisani scores the game winner, and selanne tallied a goal.
Of note:
Anaheim has outshot Edmonton in all three games of the series.
"It is absolutely embarrassing that we haven't won these games," said Selanne.
And Pronger played in his 100th playoff game.

Well you know there is a saying blueandwhite. "You are not measured by your effort but by your results." The Ducks can cry all they want about the shots that they took but that actually doesn't make it seem like they should have won. I mean is Hockey really like throwing a bunch of spaghetti on a wall and hoping some of it sticks? Forget that. Here is an Oiler article http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/H/HKN_MIGHTY_DUCKS_OILERS?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPL ATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2006-05-24-00-49-54

Cool Re: Edmonton leads series 3 and oh

Boy is the regular season a silly waste of time. All you need to do is finish in the top 8 and you have a shot.

I think that's why i love the playoffs. You get in and then it's every man for himself.

Arent all sports like this now? Its just a race to the last six to eight weeks of the season which is the playoffs. The only sport that doesn't give me that feeling is Baseball. And it still does give me that feeling with the wildcard thing. At least its not just a horserace though.
