| edmonton loses to SJ in first game Yawn.
It wasn't so exciting, or maybe I can't compare them all to the Buff-Ott game, to be fair.
This is Edmonton's fist time in the second round since 1998. Long time coming. Roloson still looked good - guess it reeally was a goalie's game, because he stopped 28 shots. Toskala stopped 16 - which may be a big reason Edmonton lost. Shoot more on net.
Fun at end, too, with goalie pulled early, but no such luck.
Thornton looked crabby (seems his game face) and lots of hits against the boards, nothing dirty - Dvorak left after a bang that sent him almost into the sharks bench - looked to be in great amount of pain to right knee.
captain Marleau reclaimed the playoff goal lead from Ottawa's Havlat.
Funny note: there's a shark named Goc that seems to be pronounced GOTCH. Guess it might not translate in germany. |
