The Duke men's basketball program was named the top program of the last 10 years by ESPN.com on Monday. The Top 10 lists are an aggregate of the individual ballots from five ESPN/ESPN.com basketball experts (Jay Bilas, Pat Forde, Andy Glockner, Andy Katz and Joe Lunardi). Duke claimed a pair of first place votes and was voted no lower than third in any of the five ballots.

According to this story, "Duke has won 302 games over the last 10 years, the most in the NCAA over that period. The program has claimed six ACC regular season titles, seven league tournament championships and the 2001 National Championship. Duke has finished as the No. 1 team in the AP poll in five of the 10 years and been ranked among the top 10 in the final RPI nine times. The Blue Devils have also had six National Players of the Year, eight consensus first team All-Americas and three Academic All-Americas since the 1997-98 season. In addition, Duke has had nine NBA lottery picks in the last 10 years."

The Duke men's basketball program continued to garner recognition from the ESPN.com Top 10 of the last 10 on Tuesday, with the 2001 and 1999 teams ranking among the top 10 teams in the country over the last decade. The 2001 National Championship Blue Devils ranked fifth overall, while the 1999 team that finished the year 37-2 overall was rated seventh. The five-member panel of ESPN/ESPN.com basketball experts (Jay Bilas, Pat Forde, Andy Glockner, Andy Katz and Joe Lunardi) ranked Duke as the top program over the past 10 years earlier in the week.
