Former Duke star Luol Deng honored
Former Blue Devil standout and current Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng was awarded the NBA Sportsmanship Award for 2006-07, the league announced Thursday. The Sportsmanship Award honors a player who exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship on the court, including ethical behavior, fair play and integrity. The trophy for the award is named for former Detroit Pistons guard and Hall of Famer Joe Dumars.
