Not too heavy at all. Its been some time since your post but developments have ocurred in the case. There was no DNA evidence linking any of the members of the Lacrosse team but just today two of them have been indicted. So I heard, this is the most bizarre high profile rape investigation I have ever followed. It makes those handling the Bryant case look level-headed. It would be nice if public interest (outcry) wasn't interfering but what can one expect?

Players Reade Seligmann and Collin Finnerty have been arrested.

DURHAM, N.C. - Two 20-year-old Duke University lacrosse players were arrested early Tuesday on charges of raping and kidnapping a stripper hired to dance at an off-campus party.

Reade Seligmann posted a $400,000 bond and Collin Finnerty was in the process of doing so for the same amount, said Col. George Naylor of the Durham County jail. By posting bond, the players avoided making an initial court appearance later in the day.

If there is any validity to these defense leaks this case and the prosecution are both jokes.

The latest word is that some of the players there, speaking anonymously, said that there was a dispute over -- putting this delicately -- financial terms and length of performance from the lady in question. Apparently, her dad also says she's considering dropping the case, citing that it's been (to paraphrase) too much of a burden on her with all the media attention and such.
