| Redick, Williams named All-Americans Both J.J. Redick and Shelden Williams have been named to The Associated Press' All-America men's basketball team. Redick, who averaged 27.4 points per game in 2005-06, joined Gonzaga's Adam Morrison as the only unanimous selections. Further, according to the AP, "Redick and Williams, a senior center who averaged 18.4 points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting 58 percent from the field, are the ninth set of teammates to be selected to the first team and the first since Jason Williams and Shane Battier of Duke in 2001." Joining them were Randy Foye of Villanova and Brandon Roy of Washington. |
