| Duke hires Danny Pearman According to Rivals.com, "Danny Pearman, who has coached in 16 bowl games and was on the staff at Alabama when the Crimson Tide captured the national championship in 1992, has been added to the Duke football staff, announced on Saturday by head coach Ted Roof. Pearman will coach Duke's tight ends while serving as special teams coordinator."
Sounds like a good hire for the Blue Devils. Pearlman has coached in 10 bowl game victories (1989 Gator, 1991 Blockbuster, 1993 Sugar, 1993 Gator, 1995 Citrus, 1996 Outback, 1998 Music City, 2001 Gator and 2003 San Francisco) and has almost two decades of coaching experience. Should definitely help the Duke football program as they try to become respectable, don't you think? |
