Great rivalry, but man, Duke's down this year. Can they handle the Tar Heels?

Re: Duke vs. North Carolina

It doesn't matter how down they are. When this game takes place, the best is delivered by each team. Now granted, I would love to see them have a down game, but it will be a great one.

18-5 is not too far down...not what they are use to, but not bad...

It's the 5-4 record in the ACC I'm looking at... they've have some real bad conference losses.

Re: Duke vs. North Carolina

I agree...But like UNC last year (well, this year also), they have a young team without a definitive senior leader.

No. 5 North Carolina Edges No. 16 Duke, 79-73

Duke received a career-high 26 points from freshman Jon Scheyer but it wasn't enough as the 16th-ranked Blue Devils fell to fifth-ranked North Carolina, 79-73, on Wednesday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Blue Devils fall to 18-6 overall and 5-5 in league play while the Tar Heels improve to 21-3 overall and 7-2 in the ACC.* The game marked the 122nd consecutive game that at least one team was ranked in the AP national poll.
