Duke just went down to Florida State 79-74 in a thriller. It truly is amazing just how close together the talent is in the ACC. This moves FSU up to 18-8 overall and 8-7 in the ACC.

This win may give FSU the push it needs to get into the NCAA Tournament. Congrats to the Seminoles!!

Great game, the end was... interesting. I am looking forward to the over-reaction from the media tomorrow.
As for the game itself, the culmination of a close game and a seemingly huge upset with a borderline melee from the crowd; this game screamed March college basketball. (On a completely unrelated note, Those ads for the new season of The Sopranos were equally gratifying.)
The performances just added to my inclination that this Duke team does not so closely resemble the great Duke teams of the past fifteen years that could beat an opponent in thirty different ways due too superior talent. They lack depth on the bench and outside of Williams they are virtually devoid of any inside presence. They will probably lose in the elite eight, if not the sweet sixteen.
