| Tigers end losing streak The Detroit Tigers finally one a game yesterday, beating the Indians 7-1 to halt their four-game losing skid. According to the AP write-up of the game, "Curtis Granderson led off the game with a homer and Marcus Thames, Carlos Guillen and Ivan Rodriguez later connected as the Tigers averted a sweep. They won for only the sixth time in 19 games since Aug. 7 -- when they held a 10-game lead in the AL Central." Think Detroit will manage to get it turned around now?
