Tigers first-inning run record

On Monday, the Detroit Tigers tied a 115-year-old record by scoring a minimum of five runs in the first inning of three consecutive games. However, that streak ended today when Cleveland's Paul Byrd shut them out in their first trip to the plate tonight. So in retrospect, how impressive a feat is this?

If a tree falls in the woods...its just a mark that shows the Tigers are out ot have a good season...otherwise...totally meaningless...

Not to impressive if the Indians stopped them.

Re: Tigers first-inning run record

Excellent point there, Sports Fan.

But the record still displays an accomplishment of hard work and effort.
