| Todd Jones put on IR Hot on the heels of the acquisition of RP Kyle Farnsworth from the Yankees, the Detroit Tigers have put former closer Todd Jones on the 15-day DL. Jones, who was recently replaced in his role by Fernando Rodney, reportedly has has inflammation in his right shoulder. Jones is 40, and this Rodney closing and Farnsworth expected to work as the set-up man in the Motor City, one has to wonder is Jones' days are numbered. Tigers place Todd Jones on DL - MLB - Yahoo! | Re: Todd Jones put on IR Well that could be if Farsworth was pitching well but if he doesn't well then who knows. |
