Detroit relief pitchers Fernando Rodney and Joel Zumaya are taking a lot of heat right now.
According to Yahoo! Sports, "Rodney has made two appearances since coming off the disabled list at the beginning of the week, neither anything you’d want to post on your personal website. He gave up a three-run home run on Tuesday night and came in Friday and threw eight pitches, all of them out of the strike zone... Zumaya was activated off the disabled list Friday and was rushed into his first game. Yes, he touched 100 mph on the speed gun, a couple of times in fact, but his appearance ended at 20 pitches and one of his triple-digit fastballs went for a two-run single." Is this criticism fair or unfair? Can these two righties rebound?
