Jeremy Bonderman will almost certainly miss the rest of the year following emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from his right shoulder. From

Bonderman underwent a thrombolysis to break up the clot on Friday night, and then an angioplasty this morning at the Detroit Medical Center.
Kevin Rand, the team's head athletic trainer, said Bonderman could be discharged from the hospital as early as this afternoon, but he may need to have another procedure once it is determined what caused the clot to form.
