| Gary Sheffield put on DL Gary Sheffield of the Detroit Tigers has been placed on the 15-day DL with an oblique strain. According to the Associated Press, "This is the 12th time on the DL for the 20-year veteran and nine-time All-Star, who is hitting just .213 with three homers and 12 RBIs in 39 games. It’s his second trip to the DL since the Tigers obtained him from the New York Yankees in November 2006." Clearly, this guy's body is breaking down. How much baseball does he have left in him? Can he last the year, even? Sheffield goes on DL, Tigers promote Larish from Triple-A - MLB - Yahoo! Sports

| Re: Gary Sheffield put on DL I hope he never swings at another MLB pitch again. He is a phony faking fraud who admitted to tanking games while with the Brewers to get himself traded. He has been a derisive individual wherever he has been. |
