even with the slump their in i would not want to play them. they have extremely high talent throughout their entire club. its only a matter of time before they heat up. their team is made up of players who know how to win(pudge, sheffield, guillen, renteria). before long they will be back in first and getting ready to make a strong run in the playoffs.

Yeah, I agree. They're off to a slow start, but they're definitely a dangerous ballclub, and once they get it all together, look out!

First the Tigers have only NOT been a MLB punching bag since 05. It hasn't been that long. There are still those of us who remember the 90's. Which is why I think it's great that the Tiger's are losing right now. There was so much hype going into this year surrounding the team, there was NO way any team could live up to it. This dose of reality will make the Tigers winning late in the season only that much sweeter! Viva la de Troit!
