| Kenny Rogers to DL The Detroit Tigers have placed pitcher Kenny Rogers on the 15-Day DL with what they're calling a tired arm. Chad Durbin will be the Tigers' fifth starter for now. What do you guys think about this move? If Rogers' age catching up with him? How good is Durbin?

| Re: Kenny Rogers to DL Wow, major update from the AP -- apparently Rogers will miss the entire first half of the 2007 season after undergoing surgery to remove a blood clot from his left shoulder and repair some arteries. According to their reports, "He is expected to start throwing in six-to-eight weeks, and Tigers president Dave Dombrowski said the earliest Rogers would return to the rotation is July." |
