According to the Associated Press, Detroit Tigers P Jeremy Bonderman "agreed to a $38 million, four-year contract on Monday -- passing up a chance to become a free agent after the 2008 season." Great move by the Tigers to lock up Bonderman for four more years, don't you think? He's one of the best young pitchers in the game.

It was a great move. He could have gotten $15 mill a year easy if Lilly is getting $10. He is always involved in trade rumors, so this will help that too. They signed him under market value, and a potential trade partner will see he won't have a big contract.
