The Detroit Tigers have signed general manager Dave Dombrowski to a four-year contract extension that will keep him running the show through the 2011 season. He's responsible for signing 20 of the 25 players on Detroit's playoff roster. Yeah, I think he's a good guy to keep around for a few more years, wouldn't you say?

I'd think so

The one thing more than any other that was nice to see about the Tigers advancing to the World Series this year was the fact they had a considerable amount of guys from that record-loss season from a few yers ago on the team. Guys like Inge, Bonderman, Monroe, Granderson (I think)...they waited and went through hell.
